Vanity 6 performing there hit song Nasty Girl on Soul Train 1983. Although the person who originally posted this video on YouTube posted the year 1982, this show actually aired January 1, 1983 1 day after the year 1982, and the actually filming and recording of the show was 1982, the show was aired in Jan 1983. In Don Cornelius introduction of Vanity 6 has them as written and producing there album, actually Prince aka Jamie Starr (The Starr Company) written and produced most of the album with the exception of a few songs writtem by Dez Dickerson, Terry Lewis, and Jesse Johnson. Prince would give Vanity writing credit for Nasty Girl although he wrote and composed Nasty Girl. Vanity 6: Denise Matthews aka Vanity, Susan Moonsie, Brenda Bennett.

    Terry Lewis of The Time co written If a Girl Answers (Don't Hang Up) and Bite The Beat was co written by Jesse Johnson of The Time. Members of The Time and Prince's original Revolution guitarist Dez Dickerson was very instrumental to the Vanity 6 album.

    The Unique Dominoes are in the audience watching Vanity 6 perform. The Unique Dominoes was a Los Angeles Street Dance Group which you could either usually see them dance among the crowd with the camera zooming in on one of the members, and also during the Soul Train line. The Unique Dominoes appeared in 1983 West Coast Hip Hop and Street Documentary Breakin' N' Enterin and also the movie Breakin' and videos The Gap Band Party Train.
